Joseph McMahon

I am a Financial Analyst at Meritage Partners, where I support mergers and acquisitions transactions through financial analysis, business valuation, and transaction advisory.

In my role, I analyze company financials, develop valuation models, assess historical and projected performance, and evaluate key metrics including EBITDA, adjusted EBITDA, margins, and cash flow. I also assist with financial due diligence, quality of earnings processes, financial forecasting, and the preparation of materials used throughout the M&A process. This experience has strengthened my understanding of how businesses are valued, positioned, and evaluated in a transaction environment.

Prior to beginning my professional career, I moved from England to the United States at 18 to pursue a university education while competing as a collegiate soccer player. During my collegiate career, I earned All-American honors, was named 2x First Team All-Conference, was selected to the All-Tournament Team, and was a 2x Academic Scholar-Athlete. I also helped my team win two conference regular-season championships and a conference tournament championship, reach a national championship final, and achieve the No. 1 national ranking on multiple occasions.

Academically, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Administration with a minor in Finance.
