May 2017 – Tatum Logistics was acquired by Aerostar Global Logistics.

Meritage Partners is pleased to announce the sale of Tatum Logistics (“Tatum”). Tatum operates a 120,000 sq. ft. warehouse proving port drayage services across multiple industries, including: food and beverage, apparel, footwear, electronics, and many more.

Tatum was acquired by Aerostar Global Logistics, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Aerostar has locations in Germany, France, England, and the United States. This acquisition gave Aerostar a California presence and access to the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles.

Meritage Partners was engaged to position Tatum for acquisition, identify and qualify strategic buyers, and act as an acquisition consultant. The transaction closed on May 19th, 2017; terms were not disclosed.
