NEWPORT BEACH, CA – Meritage Partners, Inc. (“Meritage Partners”), a leading A&E, middle-market mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, is pleased to announce the successful sale of Pacific Cornerstone Architects (“PCA”) to reputable architecture and engineering firm HED Design (“HED”). The transaction closed on April 12, 2021.
PCA engaged Meritage to target and engage strategic firms in the marketplace for purposes of expanding their geographic reach and service disciplines as well as building two individual pathways for retirement for the partners. Meritage provided a variety of options which ultimately helped the partners to make the important decisions on who they would merge with.
Through this process PCA decided that joining HED would strengthen their dominance in San Diego by having reach into HED’s multi-disciplined staff of over 450 people throughout the United States.
Meritage Partners was retained as the Company’s exclusive M&A advisor and investment banker. The transaction was led by Brian T. Franco, Founder and Managing Partner.
