Deal Announcement: Environmental Management Systems, Inc. Acquired by Versatile Processing Group

Anaheim Hills, CA, July 25, 2013 – Meritage Partners is pleased to announce that they have completed the sale of Environmental Management Systems, Inc. (“EMS” or the “Company”) to Versatile Processing Group a portfolio company of Insight Equity, a Dallas, TX based private equity firm. Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, EMS is a leading recycler of petroleum and metal servicing major electrical utility companies in the Western United States.

Meritage Partners was engaged to position the seller’s company for acquisition, assist in the preparation of due diligence, identify and qualify strategic buyers, and act as an acquisition consultant. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
